Deanwood Deli proudly invites you to join their annual Back to School Shoe Drive, benefiting the East of the River Youth in Washington, DC.
This year’s event will be hosted at the following locations:
MLK Deli: August 18th at 3PM (3113 Martin Luther King Jr Ave SE)
Deanwood Deli: August 25th at 3PM (4505 Sheriff Rd NE)
The mission is to provide new shoes, school supplies, uniforms, and hygiene kits to local youth. Last year, over 600 pairs of shoes were distributed, and this year, the goal is to donate 1,000 pairs to registered youth.

We need your support to ensure our youth are ready for the new school year! Here’s how you can help:
Bring supplies (shoes, school supplies, uniforms) to either deli location.
Make a donation online to support purchasing shoes for the youth.
