Each month, DPR partners with Capital Area Food Bank to provide extra produce and food goods for DPR's weekly communal farms veggie giveaways.
Join us on the second Wednesday of the month from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon with your reusable grocery bag in hand at Lederer Gardens. Kale, collards, lettuce, tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, squash, herbs, flowers, and MORE!
If you would like to volunteer to help harvest and setup the giveaways join anytime from 9-11am. For more information about giveaways, available produce, volunteering on a farm, and weather updates, contact Joshua Singer at joshua.singer@dc.gov.
